"Per Alamat's usual practice, the designs in our jackets reference icons or events from the regions/ethnicities each of us represents. The art style is made to look like children's artworks or pieces in school poster-making contests.

The concept is "learning about our cultures," as if we are back to being elementary students learning about our heritage. In fact, we planned to shoot these outfits in a public school setting. Unfortunately, no school would permit us to shoot due to the pandemic."
