(Tagalog)
Alamat, handa 'rap
Valfer
Tulala lang sa'king kuwarto
At nagmumuni-muni
Alas
Ang tanong sa'king sarili
Sa'n ako nagkamali?
Tomas
Bakit sa iyo pa nagkagusto?
Parang bula ika'y naglaho
(Chavacano) Mo
Porque contigo yo ya escogi?
Ahora mi corazon ta sufri
Gami
Bien simple lang iyo ta pidi
Era cinti tu el cosa yo ya cinti
R-Ji
Ta pidi milagro
Bira'l tiempo
El mali hace derecho
Jao
Na dimio reso
Tapidi yo
Era ulvida yo contigo
(Tagalog) Taneo
Ang lahat ay binigay ko
Ngayon ay sising-sisi
Alas
Sobra-sobra ang parusa
'Di alam kung kaya pa
Mo
Bakit sa iyo pa nagkagusto?
Parang bula ika'y naglaho
(Chavacano) R-Ji
Porque contigo yo ya escogi?
Ahora mi corazon ta sufri
Valfer
Bien simple lang iyo ta pidi
Era cinti tu el cosa yo ya cinti
Tomas
Ta pidi milagro
Bira'l tiempo
El mali hace derecho
Taneo
Na dimio reso
Tapidi yo
Era ulvida yo contigo
(Tagalog) Jao
'Wag nang lumapit, o tumawag pa
At baka masaktan lang kita
Gami
'Di babalikan, magsisi ka man
Ako ay lisanin
(Chavacano) Valfer
Porque contigo yo ya escogi?
Ahora mi corazon ta sufri
Tomas
Mo
Sana'y magmilagro
Mabalik ko
Mali ay maidiretso
Pinagdarasal ko sa'king puso
Na mabura ka sa isip ko
(Tagalog)
Alamat, about-face
Valfer
Just staring into space in my room
And contemplating
Alas
I ask myself
Where did I go wrong?
Tomas
Why did I fall for you?
Like a bubble, you vanished
(Chavacano) Mo
Why did I choose you?
Now my heart is suffering
Gami
My wish is simple
That you'd feel what I'm feeling
R-Ji
Asking for a miracle
To turn back time
To correct mistakes
Jao
I pray
And hope
That I'd forget you
(Tagalog) Taneo
I gave my all
But now I really regret it
Alas
The torment is extreme
I can't take it anymore
Mo
Why did I fall for you?
Like a bubble, you vanished
(Chavacano) R-Ji
Why did I choose you?
Now my heart is suffering
Valfer
My wish is simple
That you'd feel what I'm feeling
Tomas
Asking for a miracle
To turn back time
To correct mistakes
Taneo
I pray
And hope
That I'd forget you
(Tagalog) Jao
Don't dare come near me or call me
Because I might only hurt you
Gami
Won't reconcile even if you're sorry
For abandoning me
(Chavacano) Valfer
Why did I choose you?
Now my heart is suffering
Tomas
My wish is simple
That you'd feel what I'm feeling
(Tagalog) R-Ji
Why did I choose you?
Now my heart is suffering
Gami
My wish is simple
That you'd feel what I'm feeling
Mo
Asking for a miracle
To turn back time
To correct mistakes
I pray in my heart
That I'd forget you

Kundiman
"Featured in these pieces is the Yakan Tennun, woven by the proud Yakans of Basilan and Zamboanga (where the Spanish-influenced Chavacano language is spoken). Yakans draw their design ideas from nature. In Basilan, they used to weave with threads exclusively from nature - using abaca and other plants. With the unrest in Basilan, many Yakans migrated to Zamboanga and switched to cotton for their craft, preserving the skill and excellence of old. In Filipino musical tradition, the Kundiman is a love song of longing and pining, and aptly derives from the Tagalog phrase, 'Kung hindi man'." - HapiHabi
Harana
"This Harana Series was created by HapiHabi Wearable Weaves exclusively for Alamat. During the early Spanish period, it was typical for a Filipino man in love, to woo and court their beloved by organizing a group of friends to help serenade her. In doing so, the group would often don the iconic Barong Tagalog. The outfits in this series consist of colored and modern organza Barong Tagalogs, modernized with machine embroidery and the addition of Binakul and Kantarines weaves from La Paz, Abra. The Barong designs give homage to an age old tradition, whilst celebrating the color, diversity and unique musicality that is Alamat’s." - HapiHabi
